The nature, the future, and the hero

People of the Philippines was really startled, shocked and terrified as the Typhoon Pablo roamed and left a extreme damage in our country especially in Visayas region. While watching TV, I see how people of all ages rescued and it gives me shivers. As if their feelings was passed on me through the screen. As the dead and missing people increased the hopes of the ‘pinoys are decreasing.

                Why now? Why calamities and disaster were getting 10 times more furious than before? I have my own answer to that question, it’s because people now, are much more greedy, selfish and irresponsible. Who we are supposed to blame in this charade of death and misery? Is it the West Monsoon? The Sharks? Greek Gods and Goddesses? China? Or YOU?!

                Human. A delicate, most intelligent, most emotional creation that God made. Too bad, even greediness, gluttony, irresponsibility and misery was also written in the Bible. Destroying our environment is like destroying yourself. Who will reap this vicious cutting of trees without replacing them? Who will kill themselves for burning plastics and rubbers and who will end up dead because of air pollution? Aren’t you afraid? Maybe now, no. But what if you wake up in the morning by a loud thud from underground and your house has been swallowed by the ground? Or what if you have to live in a raft because the whole city was flooded? Or what if an angry storm, washed out your property including your business, house and family?

Pal, there’s nothing more painful than finding your missing family in the line of dead bodies in the streets, and keep asking the rescuers to find them, and praying that they are still alive, and you will surely, blame yourself for this.

                Fellow people. Let’s CHANGE! The betterment starts with an act of random kindness to nature.

                Why use plastic if we can use reusable eco bags? Why burn bottle of waters, containers and tires if we can recycle them to much better helpful things? Why experiencing floods if we can prevent them by planting trees? Why throw garbage everywhere, if you can segregate and divide the non-biodegradable and biodegradable things?

                Why we just act and change when we were already punished? Let’s move now while we have time to change things. If you ignore this signs and warnings from nature, 5 years or so, you might buying your own canned purified fresh air.

                Shall we wait for the next disaster to beat us and teach us lessons? We can blame no one except ourselves in this, if we didn’t abused nature we still can picture a better future. Let’s think for our family and friends and to the next generations who wish to have a better environment, that’s why, let’s think always that we are the superheroes for kids of tomorrow, and you will say one day that, “I once save the Earth.”

 And the super power we have was the laser eyes with extreme DISCIPLINE, we can teleport INITIATIVE and we can give KINDNESS faster than the lightning.
